Practice Update - Winter 2021

20th May 2021

As the unpredictability of 2020 has settled into a more normal 2021, the clinic has remained busier than ever. In order to meet our client’s needs we extend a warm welcome to three new staff members.

Amelia Fryer is a vet who joined us in early March. A 2019 Sydney Uni grad from a beef farm in Dungog, Amelia spent her first year in practice in a Victorian dairy clinic. A true ‘mixed’ vet, she enjoys working with cattle, horses, and internal medicine of all species. Recruiting vets at the moment is a real challenge across the industry, so we are very happy to welcome Amelia, and will support her interests and development as best we can.

Amanda Danieletto is a vet nurse who also comes from a human medical background so she innately cares about animals and their people. She has slotted in seamlessly and is taking on some of the administrative duties as well as reception and nursing. Amanda often materialises with mugs of coffee all round, so keeping the internal wheels running smoothly.

Stephanie Hough is our school-based trainee vet nurse. A student at O’Connor and TAFE, she is balancing studies and work, and is very committed to animal welfare. Steph has the unseen, but important roles of restocking, cleaning and helping with walking, holding and monitoring animals.
